Archery & 3-D Range

Archery is a time honored tradition at Meadowlake Ranch.  A primal process that connects you to the land, fills coffers with food and provides hours of family fun.  We have long bows, Indian bows, recurves and compounds.

We will show you how to shoot using the traditional ‘instinctive’ aiming method.  Newbies can start with close range targets and when you get good enough you can move up to our 3D Archery Range.

Our 3D Range features a walking trail lined with life size foam targets including a full size mountain lion in a tree crouched and ready to pounce on a clutch of geese, a turkey gobbler in full strut at the bottom of a steep hill, a wild boar raiding corn from a deer feeder, an alligator in a creek that you must shoot from a boat, an 8 point buck munching corn from a bucket feeder, a six foot bear standing next to a large tree that you must shoot from an elevated stand, a raccoon at the base of a tree and a wily coyote sneaking through the underbrush.  It’s a terrific range in totally natural surroundings.  It’s like playing golf with a bow & arrow… you will love it!
