Riding Lessons (novice & intermediate riders)
Learn to ride a horse CORRECTLY the first time... or just improve your skills before a trail ride. Let the experienced wranglers at Meadowlake
Ranch teach you about horses head to tail and withers to hooves. You will learn to catch, groom and saddle a horse, then we'll spend some time in the round pen learning to ride correctly. Whether you just need a tune up or this is your first time you will love the patient wranglers and gentle horses at Meadowlake Ranch.
As your skill levels improve, on successive lessons you may also get to ride in our 20,000 sq. ft. outdoor riding arena.

begin with a riding lesson, if there is enough time after the lesson we will trail ride. Rider weight limit

may be required to ride with parent or wrangler. Rate is the same whether riding single or double. We reserve
the right to refuse any rider
we deem unsuitable, without refund. Two hour ride includes tack time, i.e., catching, saddling &
grooming the horses, actual time in the saddle is usually less than one hour. Two guest minimum. Activities, meals and
campfires may be shared w/ other guests not in your party.
Dude
for a Day (intermediate & advanced riders)
Join us for a half day at Meadowlake
Ranch. Saddle up for
a 2 hour* trail ride,
then
learn to throw a knife and tomahawk,
shoot a bow & arrow and rope
a straw steer. A picnic lunch is served under
the cedar trees on the Lodge
patio at 1 pm.
Join us for a full day at Meadowlake Ranch. After lunch you can shoot a pistol or rifle, hike, bike, canoe,
swim, pitch horseshoes or
just take a nap in the shade tree hammocks.

Ranch Hand
for a Day (city slickers welcome)
Want to experience what it's like to be a real cowboy? This is a GREAT parent & child bonding experience. Yes, we have 'pint sized' jobs for the young'uns.
Join us for a half day or full day at Meadowlake
Ranch. Slip on your boots, dust off your gloves and join us for a day on the ranch. Breakfast & lunch are included, but just so we're clear... this is a WORK DAY!
Your job will be doing whatever we're doing... building fence, working the horses, feeding stock, picking up rocks and helping with whatever we are working on. At the end of the day you will be hot, tired, sweaty and beaming with pride at a job well done.

Hayride (everybody welcome)
Spend a day in the hay! We offer
tractor-drawn hayride ranch tours for
as few as 15 guests to as many as 200. We use modern wagons w/ pneumatic tires and bench seats for safety & comfort, but our wagons feature canvas covered hoops for that old-time wagon train look.
After your hayride we'll meet back at the lakeside lodge for a steamy bowl of 'Mountain Man Stew', dinner roll, drink & campfire w/ roasted marshmallows.

We offer Romantic Moonlight Trail Rides for couples in love. Meadowlake

Pistol, Rifle & Shotgun Shooting (novices & advanced shooters)
Your choice of pistol or rifle or shotgun shooting. We have a shaded gun range w/ 25 yd, 50 yd, 75 yd and 100 yd metal plinking targets, plus a double skeet thrower and four shooting stations. Each burm has four evenly spaced, metal pendulum targets... a pond dam behind that... and a tall hill behind that. This is one of the safest ranges anywhere. Bring a friend, your

Tomahawk & Knife Throwing Lessons (novices, intermediate & advanced throwers)
Now here's something you don't see every day. How many opportunities will you have to learn to throw a tomahawk? Learn from the best... we have taught hundreds of people this new skill. Sure, maybe you won't use it everyday, but won't it be fun to tell your friends that you know how?

Straw Calf Roping Lessons (novice ropers only)
Come learn to throw a loop. We have safe, straw calves under shade trees. We throw from a standing position and all-in-all it's about the safest environment you can imagine to learn the basics of a very dangerous sport.

We specialize in helping beginners learn how to shoot a bow & arrow the right way. We have all the equipment, the only thing missing is YOU.

3-D Archery Range (advanced archers only)
Come enjoy our 3-D archery range. Life size foam targets in natural settings, include mountain lion in a tree, Tom turkey at the bottom of a steep hill, wild boar at a corn feeder, climb up in a boat suspended just above the ground to shoot an alligator in the creek, take a 50 yd shot at a 12 pt buck, climb a small deer stand to shoot a climbing bear, test your skill on a raccoon (sounds easy, we'll see), and finally you can pop a coyote on the trip back to the starting point.

Watching (everybody welcome)
The Audubon Society, bird watching
clubs and LOTS of serious birders
and butterfly enthusiasts come
to Meadowlake Ranch to study,
count and just enjoy the huge
variety of birds and butterflies.
We cultivate specific plants for our little winged friends.
Though we’re only 15 minutes
west of downtown Tulsa, the birds
and butterflies are in a world
unto themselves.

Our Hiking
Trails feature high hills with
dense woods, old growth forests,

can use as elevated wildlife & bird
watch towers.
